Overcoming painful experiences is challenging, and I hope to collaborate with you on your journey to healing and wellness. I understand how overwhelming it is to face distressing aspects of your life that leave you feeling isolated, confused, depressed, and anxious, and it is my honor to help you experience meaningful change. I strive to create an inviting and safe space for you to feel heard and understood as we process difficult experiences and discover significant insights ultimately leading to lasting growth. My approach is an empowering one where we will work together to cultivate a customized approach that fits you and your needs.
My time in Southern Methodist University's Counseling Program fostered my passion for working with adults, couples, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. At SMU's Center for Family Counseling and the Resource Center, I served individuals, couples, and groups seeking treatment and support for depression, anxiety, trauma, gender and sexual identity issues, infidelity, communication problems, family difficulties, and other clinical and interpersonal concerns. I empower my clients to examine the story of their lives, gain understanding into the most painful chapters, and create adjustments allowing for a healthy and healing shift in perspective through Narrative Therapy and other complimentary modalities and techniques. Counseling and watching the transformative and powerful changes that ensue is my passion, and I look forward to helping you make the necessary changes to reach your goals.
